Christmas Cookie Baking at my Sister's home

I love this time of year! Family spending quality times and there is always something to do. :) It seems families these days are either full of tradition (like ours!) or without tradition... I hope that more turn to having them, or starting them, and that this may inspire more of you to do so! SGP is more than happy to come and document your traditional events and special times. Contact Sarah for details!!!
One tradition that we do every year is bake cookies for the holiday season- lots and lots of cookies. On the menu this year was our family recipe of sour cream roll out cookies with icing, chocolate chip cookies, and butterscotch cookies. This year, my sister hosted the party at her house and invited not just our family, but her in-laws as well. Then (as if this isn't already a rowdy group!), her husband invites over his friends to watch football! Ah, smart friends to come over when hundreds of cookies are being baked just yards away. :) Anyway, the tradition of baking cookies is always fun. Now that the kids are old enough to participate, it is even more of a cherished time... And by participate, I mean make messes, eat cookies, and get crazy- as evidenced below! :) We had a great time together and here are some of the highlighted photographs.

Happy Holidays!
